— FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

01

How long does an Open Water course take?

3–4 days total — including theory, pool/confined-water sessions, and four open-water training dives.

02

Can I learn to dive if I can't swim well?

Basic swim ability is required (you must swim 200m and float for 10 minutes). The course itself helps build comfort and skill.

03

What's the minimum age?

10 years old for Junior Open Water (depth limited to 12m). 15+ for full Open Water (18m depth).

04

Where are courses run?

Calm bays around Mansuar Island, or onboard liveaboards. Visibility for training is typically 25–30m — far better than most quarry training.
